"Antahkarana 1" represents the building of the 'bridge of light' or 'connecting threads' that link the physical brain with the soul, a process that eventually brings about the at-one-ment of the personality and the soul. The building of the Antahkarana proceeds unconsciously through meditation, and takes several lives to perfect. Once the channel is built, the Light, Love and eventually the Will of the soul can make their appearance on the physical plane. The process of building the antahkarana is then repeated on a higher level, aligning the human soul and the Monad, the Spiritual Man. This higher at-one-ment allows the individual personality to express its essential being as the universal Divine Spark. (Painted in 1964)
